Hello to all contributors! I am in desperate need of help with rent money for the month of October, which is pass due, and November 2011 is just around the corner. I am from West Hartford, CT. 44 years old, been unemployed since June of this year, and have had no luck in finding a job. I'm depressed and don't have family or friends to turn to. I have always been self-reliant but for the past 3 years, financially, It has been painful struggling, some days I just feel like giving it all up... don't ask me what that means because I don't know or won't know until it happens... I need to raise $800 by Nov. 10th, 2011, or my landlord will evict me from her property. Hello all,

For years I have been struggling with keeping a job, paying my bills, and saving my money.  I have endured a bankruptcy, suicide attempts  I am currently suffering from a medical condition in relation to arthritic conditions.  Due to my condition I was forced to take a leave of absence since March 2010.  my employer which is based in Charlotte, NC was able to pay for my expenses for one month but then they refused and insisted I bring in more information, but they would not accept my doctor's documents.  They unjustly terminated me a couple of weeks ago.  Right now while I am waiting for unemployment, I have been forced to apply for payday loans which are still not enough to pay for my rent, utilities, and medical expenses.  I am just looking for a new start while I am applying for other job positions as a customer service representative.  And though I don't have anything to grasp on right now the only aid I can provide for others is my prayers.  i am lost and out of options and for the first time in my life I don't know what to do. If there is any way to help either by financial assistance or even your prayers I would thoroughly appreciate it.

Hi, my name is Joni. I am a single mom of two sweet boys.  I have a good job which barely pays the rent and bills, but we make it. I am asking for help because I am desperate. Three years ago my oldest son was sexually molested and abused from a family member living at his fathers home. I hired an attorney and followed all the directions she told me to take. We saw several doctors and therapists, and was in and out of court with no help. My son continues to be mentally and physically abused by his father and his family. My hands are tied as there is nothing I can do to protect my own son. However, I will never give up until he is safe. I have hired a new attorney that is specialized in this type of case. He is very good, but extremly expensive. I already owe my past attorney $4000, and am behind $5000 to my new attorney. He has informed me that we have a court date set for June and that I need to be ready for a huge expense. I have tried to apply for loans and credit cards, but have had no luck due to my income. I believe in God and that prayer is very powerful, so I am asking for your prayers and help in anyway possible.

Hi everybody... my wife and I are putting together an equine assisted self-learning process program.... we have three horses, (Dude, Maverick, and Quincy) we are adopting from a ranch that is disbanding due to the economy.

Our target populations are Veteran's with PTSD and TBI, their families, and "at risk youth". 

The equine assisted self-learning process (EASLP), is a powerful experience based program that uses specific situational exercises to address human issues in a safe but potent metaphorical manner.  Our program is inspired and derived from the OK Corral Series EAL and EAP programs created and developed by Greg Kersten. Equine assisted therapies are recognized for their amazing efficacy in helping folks learn how to overcome challenges in communication, relationship bulilding, grief, anger, emotional and mental trauma, and many other applications.

 We are working hard to bring this about with an impressive business plan that shows that the program will comfortably sustain itself when fully operational.

Our problem is that we lack sufficient start-up capital to launch this business in an expeditious manner.  We have run out of cash and cash flow, partly due to the greater economy's trevails.  But, that is another story.  Right now, we have hay, insurance, fencing, infrastructure, and veterinarian costs to meet.  My best guess is that it will take an additional $100,000 to get us operationally producing a profit over the next year.   Methinks that we could do it for less, depending on the community response to our program, perhaps just half that amount.

We humbly request help... (not an easy thing for us)... but, yeah, we could use some assistance to get our project up and running to serve our veterans, their families, and troubled teens.

 Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) are injuries most often sustained in battle.  Many of our war veterans coming home from Iraq, Afganistan, and other  battlefields around the globe are suffering from these two kinds of war injuries.  The effects of PTSD and TBI on our vets interferes with their ability to adjust to their post-war civilian life.  

Veterans often report problems in relationships and communication in their marriages and families, in their job place activities, and in social interaction with friends and neighbors.

Equine assisted learning and therapies are commonly known to produce dramatic positive effects for individuals who suffer from PTSD and TBI.  We have in our area a substantial number of vets who reside here needing these services or, in some cases, must reside far away from home to recieve these services.  We hope to address this situation.

Should you desire to assist us in this endeavor, there are several options we could consider.

1.  The first is a tax-deductable donation to DAYSTAR RANCH INC, a California 501 c 3 organization who assists ranches like ours to offer equine services for the healing of people.

2.  There is direct gifting to our Ranch by way of cash, hay, building material, of other needed items.

Hello, My Name is Therese, I am 45 and have been Disabled since 2006, I have Lupus, Fibromialgia, Rhumatoid Arthritis, Lupus Nephritis,I only have 46% Kidney Function left Due to a complete Kidney Failure in June,Just found out I have Sleep Apnea( I quit breathing 104 time's an Hour), and Now have been Diagnosed with Nerve Fiber damage in all 4 of my extremities( Thanks to my Lupus), along with some heart issue's now in which they want to do some testing this week to come. I am currently raising 6 grandchildren of which two are special need's. I get no help financial from any of the parent's as none are in the their live's at the moment due to different reason's. A very special person sent me here that befriend me on  a web site that I belong to in which is called Free Charity Cars. You see I am also in dire need of a vehicle right now at this point in my life also as mine is about to go caput!! I am having a really hard time both Financially and emotionally right now and am reach out for support. Where I live the county is very poor and does not have alot of resources for people like myself. We dont have public transportation. All of my specialist appointments and the two special needs babies appoints are approximatley 145 miles on way across the Bay Bridge Tunnel in Va. to Norfolk Va. You see we live in a very rural community where we have to travel in order to get the medical care thtas is needed. The closest hospital to me is 1 hour away and has not 1 Doctor that know''s how to treat me!So I am here reaching out to you for support both Emotioinally, Resource's Wise, and any other way that there is offered on this site as I am not quite familiar as to what all is offered here  as I am new here. I am in need. I have worked on a grant for 4-years and now it has ended. My work on the grant has been recognized national by Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration where I worked on a Systems of Care Grant for Erie County, New York.

Now that the grant has ended I find that I am re-inventing myself for the job market and would like to start my own consulting business in Social Marketing. I have a commitment to provide a 1-day training in Orlando, Florida in June 2010 but find that I need money to produce the materials for the training and I'm trying to find it now. I am unemployed and it is rather difficult to find a position in my chosen field. I can not afford to use my unemployment for this purpose because them I would put myself and 15-year old daughter at risk of being homeless.

I'm looking to see if there are any grants out there that could help me. I know that once I present at this Conference in Florida I'll be able to pick-upadditional business. However, image and professional appearance is everything when you're just starting out. With over 20 years of marketing experience this is not a fear for me but presentation is everything. If I'm stepping out as an independent marketing consultant my presentation must be appropriate to highlight how my skills can help other non-profits or small businesses.

With the confirmation from the conference for me to present now I must prepare. I do not have printing money for materials at this stage of the game and need some help that I am search for. If you can point me in a direction that would be wonderful. I'm looking for approximately $1,000 - $2,500 to print flyers, presentation for the 1-day long event, giveaway items for group participation, and a booklet outlining cool tips and tricks in marketing that every small business can use and take advantage of at no-cost or minimal cost to their agency.So if there is free money, grant money available I'd like to find it before February or I'll have to cancel my commitment.

I am an international student from a low-income family currently studying in UK. I got partial funding which is not enough to cover my living expenses with all my funding going towards the high international student tuition fees. I have been working part-time to cover nearly half of my living expenses but I am still falling short of around £ 3,000. I am on a UK student visa and cant work more than 20 hrs per week. 

I also cannot exceed my overdraft limit.So I am making a request for financial support or guidance. Any help will be much appreciated.I did not want to ask for financial help but I see no other options at the moment and I am not eligible for additional funding from the university.

I was in an automobile accident in Jan. of 2005. I have no medical insurance & I have been needing surgery on my Jaw which is dislocated at the left and right joints of my Temporal Mandibular Joint. I also have a very bad cervical spine subluxation which causes so much pain that I have 3 Dr.'s statements that I am totally disabled. the pain is excruciating. I filed for SSI (Disability) over 2 yr's ago and am still waiting. Meanwhile I am not able to work. I am asking for any financial aid so I can get the medical help that I need. I do have medical records and can provide the names of Dr's. My name is Maria. I'm 16. My family and I needs your help.

My family just immigrated from the Philippines last year. We used to live a good life and we didn't really struggle financially.

Now, when we moved to the US, our lucked changed. My father who worked as a Social Worker in the Philippines is now only a 'cart pusher' at the airport and is earning 7.50$ an hour. My mother who worked as a court interpreter is currently unemployed and is trying her best to get a new job. Both my parents are of old age my mom is 63 and my dad is 60. 

We used to live in a two story, 4 bedroom house in the Philippines and had a maid who pretty much did all the chores for us. Now, we're living in a room in a house owned by a Filipino family with 6bedrooms and pay 650$ a month for a room that only fits a king size bed and a kitchen table.  Paying rent every month is getting harder and harder for my family, having only my father who's working and earns only 1,000$ a month.

My parents' health aren't very good either. My father had diabetes and both my parents are sick most of the time. And they both are in medication. My dad stopped taking some of his medicines because we don't have the money to buy them and his condition is getting worse.

I am currently applying for a job and had applied for 10 different stores and companies. Sadly, none had accepted me. But I'm still trying hoping that I would get a job and help with my family's financial issues.

So if you have an extra dollar or two, please help us. We're selling almost everything we have in our small place and sadly none of the items were successfully sold. We also got ripped off with the amount of $700 and we badly needed that money for my dad's immediate treatment.

All we need is $1,500  to go back to the Philippines and for my father's medications. please help us.

I'm not doing this for my own good. But for the welfare of my parents and for the hope of them getting better.
